Got a free afternoon? Why not invite over some friends and stick on a documentary? You’ll learn something new and get the chance to discuss it with your best pals.
Here is my ultimate list of documentaries to watch (and discuss) with friends:
A world without downsyndrome?
Making a murderer
Don’t call me crazy
Reggie yates (Australia and Russia)
Secret life of (3/4/5) year olds
16 kids and counting
How the other half live
Life and death row
Wild wild country
Louis Theroux (I can’t choose one in particular, I’d suggest watching all of them!)
The true cost
I hope you find something on the list which inspires you or challenges your preconceptions in some way. My favourite thing about documentaries is that they allow access to people’s experiences and tell stories which might have otherwise never been told.
Have you watched any of these documentaries? Share your thoughts in the comments! and let me know if there’s a brilliant documentary missing from my list 🙂
