Planning your summer? With Christmas a distant memory it’s this time of year we all start thinking about how we’ll fill those precious few sunny months.
City breaks are such a fun way to go abroad. A few days filled with tourist-ing, ice-cream and naff group T-shirts…and blisters of course from being on your feet all day but it’s all part of the fun right?!
If that sounds ideal and you’re considering where you fancy exploring for your next city break, then I’d highly recommend Prague.
The capital’s colourful buildings make you feel like you’re inside a model village
Evenings in Prague are idyllic
Prague has a very interesting (and pretty sad) history. It’s full of great museums to wander around and learn.
There seem to be ice-cream sellers on every street
There are loads of aesthetically-pleasing places to eat
The central square of the city is always buzzing with life (and masses of tourist groups…you’ll improve your dodging skills though so it’s all good)
Despite the trek, a visit to Prague castle is definitely worth your time (and sweat)
Lennon’s wall is a colourful explosion of lyrics (when we went there was a guy playing guitar and singing Beatles songs…serious feels)
All photos belong to myself and my friend and were taken during our visit to Prague last year 🙂
